Valkarasaurus acrotyrannus

From OurFoodChain

Evolved from D. plumaprimventis thet moved to zone H due to competition of other D. plumaprimventis . They evolved to become bigger as there were bigger prey now and developed a hump used to regulate heat and if water is extremely deep they can still float.
Found in zone H and growing up to 2 feet. They feed on Terrasuchus gigagammas, D. vultertalonus and T. ceratotherium. They hunt in groups of 1-3 usually picking off the weak, sick, old and young. They use their sharp claws to grip painful at their prey or slash at them while their jaws bites the neck. T. gigagammas is a hard prey to take down and only has a success rate of 30% so failures are frequent if a T. gigagammas killed a member they eat it. Their also territorial and fight by wrestling with each other to gain hierarchy in its group. The also have humps which stores air in it so it can swim better as the hump makes it float, while it is hunting it deflates the hump to get more speed and balance. When breeding courtship happens during spring when males brutal fight for females instead of wrestling they show off their true strength to the female by bite each other and slashing at each other. It can be so injuring that the losing rival would collapse and die but fatality is rare. Once a female accepts a male they mate and the female is left to lay eggs in the next week which she would build a nest to incubate her eggs. once their eggs hatch in 2-3 weeks they are fed by the mother and are taught how to hunt at subadult in which the mother will chase them off to fend for themselves. Their colours are green to brown with a light underside, males have a lighter green colour while females are more brown.
