Tide Pool Armorwyrm

From OurFoodChain

Evolved from D. armorgedonensis in zone 28. Their became about 50% larger to give more surface area to push off when crawling out of water to more effectively move between tide pools.

Found in zone 28, they grow up to a maximum of 1.5 feet long. They feed on S. filtafilta and S.tidalus. Usually found swimwing at the bottom of tidepools searching for food occasionally breathing atmospheric air. They're able to use their limbs to crawl and drag themselves onto land with their elongated body also helping them traversing on land so they can move from tide pool to tide pool. With their lungs their able to last a long time out of water until they desiccate.

When breeding, males and females encounter each other anytime of the year and start to court and breed. The female lay their eggs in the substrate(up to 50-100 eggs but only 1-10 survive due to predation from T. katharagnathus (assumed from D. charcadontolosteus)). When the eggs hatch they begin to be fully independent of themselves feeding first on the feather filaments of Stichodactyla species(due to their armor being softer when their young as its not as developed yet) but once they reach their able to feed on all parts of Stichodactyla species.
