Extinct (March 29th, 2020): Outcompeted by Plortatus manguca

Evolved from P. summapellicius that were transported to zone H by wind. Those that grew in zone H developed long roots that are exposed as stilt roots so it can still breathe when zone h is the land was flooded. Some of its seeds are developed to be buoyant having a light built but have hollow air pockets in the seed to make it float on water when it lands on water.

Found in zone H, they grow up to 8-9 feet tall(increase in height for better chance of seeds getting carried away further). The seed developed to be larger so it allows air pocket in the seed(but has an internal part that connects the inner layer of the seed to the bottom outer layer of the seed) to allow it to be buoyant on water. With the increase in size their trichomes increase in length to 2-3.5cm to help cope with the new size to allow it to be drifted by the winds as effective as its ancestor this helps it spread away from the mother plant giving reduce competition and better expansion for the species. When the seeds land on water in a flooded zone they would float and drift to a less flooded spot to grow. Their long exposed stilted roots allow it to breathe even though their land is flooded with water and allow it to be stable in the muddy loose soil.

It reaches full height in about 3 months (90 days), and produces numerous seeds year-round as they are blown around the surrounding area.
