They evolved from D.major. Due to exposure to zone 9 and the coast of zone C. Gripus has evolved to live on the sandy beaches and live in the salty seas of zone 9. Their feet are wide and thin perfect for dashing across the sand. Due to their adaption, they can swim and catch prey like Suboslontus angelosis and Tridactylus cornucauda. They hunt normally in the water. They hunt by pushing sand on their prey confusing its victims as gripus goes for the killing blow.

Reproduction:
Every spring and summer female gripus dig a sand nest as the male will catch the biggest fish they can find the females will choose their mates. over a spend of 3 months, the male will gather food for the pregnant gripus. She will lay her eggs and roost over them. The baby will hatch and depend on the female’s hunts to survive. They will reach a Juvenile stage and start to fend for themselves. And cycles repeats
