Subsukalensis jorfunus
Extinct (April 19th, 2020): loss of food (P. spineesa)
An early parasite of P. forensus, found on the vines of small trees in March. Using it's pointy abdomen, it lays eggs on seeds or early sprouts of the plant. It then lies dormant for just under a year. When the group of 15-30 eggs hatches, each individual begins searching for a soft spot to suck liquids from it's host. Once grown (2-3 weeks), it breeds and searches for more vines to parasitize. Has 8 legs. Once seeds of the host are dropped, the cycle is started again. Damage to trees is minimum unless the eggs are opened prematurely by a predator. Zone F, terrestrial.
