(Redirected from Savanhyeanus savannuserta)

Terroraptorus savannus populations that hunted larger prey, like S. elephantus, began growing larger to better overpower their prey. This led to Terrorraptorus savannuserta.

Found in zone E, they grow up to 4.8 feet. They predate large Tarates that their packs of 3-6 are capable of taking down. They will surround their prey, attempting to bite the legs and neck to kill or slow down the prey. The oldest member of a pack will lead as it knows more about the landscape and can lead to hunting grounds and water. The packs also nest together.

They're a sand colour with the feathers being a mixture light brown and green to camouflage in their surrounding, however males have brighter green feathers and their spots are more yellow. To keep cool in the heat of Adero they trap cool air under their feathers and will use evaporative cooling by panting. The feathers also provide a thicker coat of insulation on their back to protect from the sun.

When breeding males will leave their pack together to seek out females that they court, males display their feathers to females and jump around to display fitness. the female will select the male that has the brightest colours and greatest stamina. If the female accepts the male they will mate, once mating the males will return to their packs. Males will give up courting if they can not finding a female that hasn't mated. Packs stay together to make nesting areas to provide group protection but will hunt separately to raise their young. Adults that don't breed will stick with the pack and help protect the nests and raise the young. A female can lay to 2-7 eggs. Once the egg hatches the female would take care of the young for about 1 year until they grew into young adults. The female would teach her younglings how to hunt when they are sub-adult and then chase them off when they are old enough. This species also mates for life to insure better chances of mating each season.
