Ancestor: descended from Hexapiscus herbimendus
Zone(s): 3
Size: roughly 20 cm in length, and about a quarter of a pound
Reproduction: they have roughly 10-20 fry and provide no parental care
Food/Sustenance: they eat the same polyphs as H. herbimendus but also have diversified their diet to all members of the genus taxonomum in zone 3
General description: they have grown in size from their ancestor in response to competition for their only food source from other muscals in zone 3, their bodies become shorter and rounder to help make them more maneuverable by requiring less mass behind the fins to be moved, as they slowly swim toward their prey and just nibble on it since they smol. like their ancestors their teeth are specialty adapted to eating polyphs and color is unchanged from the desaturated green of H. herbimendus. it has gained new gills via a mutation in the shh genes to aid in respiration
