Qualis Humulis

Qualis Humulis is the name of a large extinction event occurring on December 27th, 2018, marking the end of the Genesis period and the beginning of the Oslontocene period.

Extinctions[edit]

More than 10 species went extinct at this time, the majority of which due to not having a suitable source of food. All organisms within Zone 15 perished, leaving the zone completely empty.

The following extinctions occurred:

Raikos kiria no food source
Tubincia sanginata no suitable hosts
Draco antaritha no food left
Pigma bluvus no food source
P. filteriourus no food source
Limulus diminutus out-competed by S. mipensis
Macrognathusensis burrowous not enough food to support a creature that large
Bryopsis macropopulus eaten to extinction by N. tigerensis
Neritina tigerensis extinction of B. macropopulus
Multis parva extinction of B. macropopulus
Naukis dinklebergii extinction of M. parva

All affected species were maladapted Genesis species.

Aftermath[edit]

Prior to the event, there were approximately 70 extant species, bringing the final count to approximately 60 species. The event marked the start of the Oslontocene period.
