A descendant of the common bulb whose spores ended up on zone d. It’s hasn’t changed much, possessing the same root like structure, storage core, and photosynthetic layer; however, the outermost part of the photosynthetic layer have developed a hard layer that prevents it from drying out. This outer layer are dotted with tiny pores to facilitate transpiration and gas exchanges.
