Length: 6 feet (females) 8 feet (males)

Description: This aquatic wyvernsaur has become avery agile predator, with it's sleek and streamlined body and powerful limbs. It's back legs have become shorter and flatter, making it a better swimmer. It's an expert at hunting, eating mainly communislontids and the occasional juvenile wyvernsaur. It's ability to give birth to live young in water has freed it from risking itself from coming up onto land. Unlike it's previous ancestor, P. natans is able to retain their eggs in their body and allow their babies to develop inside them. However, the embryos are only supplied by their yolk sac, making this species ovoviviparous. P. natans is migratory, one part of the year is spent in Zone 6, where the nurseries are located. The rest are spent in either Zone 3 or 4 depending on food and mating areas. During mating season, females choose the largest males to mate with. Females give birth to around 3-5 babies per litter. When they are born, they stick to their mother for protection for up to a month before they have to fend for themselves. The young take 5 years to fully mature into adults.
