Polypiscus omnimendus

From OurFoodChain
Extinct (February 26th, 2019): No reason provided.

These omnivores evolved from H. primitus and feed on both polyphs and muscals in zone 3, with suitably adapted mouths. Their diet combines those of H. herbimendus and H. carnimendus, allowing them to reach sizes of between 10 and 14 cm, even up to 16 in rare cases. They have high muscle mass and articulation in the fins, to help with catching nimble prey and avoiding competition or potential predators.
