Paskaslontus sturgenousis
Size: 15 cm
S. sturgenousis is derived from S. sturgensis and has not changed much from S. sturgensis. It still is as large as it, has the same fin shape and lives in zone 10. It has 3 main differences from S. sturgensis. The first major difference is its different food choices. Much detritus was piling up in zone 10 because there was not detritivore/decomposer. So S. sturgenousis took the task. It began eating all of the dead leaves and S. sturgensis that were in zone 10. The next major difference is its larger mouth. With all of the food it has at its disposal it evolved a larger mouth to shovel it in (it is not enough larger to show in the depiction). The 3rd and last major difference is its color. S. sturgensis has a pink stripe that runs along its back, now S. sturgenousis males have a bright fire-engine red stripe along the back. Females keep the pink stripe. Because of the muddiness of zone 10 the females are more easily able to spot the males to mate with them. They breed and reproduce the same way as their ancestor.
