Nymphaeomum florus

From OurFoodChain
Extinct (April 5th, 2020): Outcompeted by Taxonomum vinensis

Due to Taxonomum longiceedus seeds being brought onto land by Oslontus disambiguus, this species has adapted from those seeds to be able to survive on land. The seed pods, unlike its aquatic predecessors, have large budding flowers with 6 white petals around them. The vegetative matter is still very similar to its predecessors, and while this new species has adapted to require less water for survival on land, it is still restricted to the area surrounding Zone 22 and the coast of Zone 9.
