Musguminita aquariusa
Extinct (April 12th, 2020): Outcompeted by Musguminita mossaquaria
Evolved from M. arcaica they became aquatic and moved to zone 21. They evolved to be semi aquatic able to absorb water fully submerged and able to be out of water. Their internal cavity full of liquid developed to be able to store more water and release water out to not be fully filled with water.
Found in zone 21 it grows roots to be able to root themselves on rocks, gravel and soil. It grows both directions. Each shoot of moss is 15cm tall as its shoot up from the substrate.
It frequently releases spores from between its leaves. They release the spores into the water as the water would drift the spores away from the mother plant, the spores would then attach to substrate and grow.
