Motoslontus killifoeto

From OurFoodChain

Evolved from O. killiskippus that eventually flopped and moved to zone 21 via puddles. Those that lived in zone 21 now thrived and developed a larger mouth to feed on bulbus species but still feeds on what O. killiskippus ate. They got bigger due to the larger amounts of food and space.

Found in zone 21 they grow up to 8-20cm(large size ratio due to some living in puddles or ponds next to zone 21 which when it floods it join into one lake again. They feed on M. coilus leaves, M. firmumsus leaves, M. stellafrons leaves, and M. sustensa leaves which have fallen on to water of zone 21 and would also feed on B. bulbus, B. floatus and biofilm. They are found in large shoals of 60-100 specimens per shoal. They have also been seen in small ponds that are next to zone 21 which were blocked off but natural barriers of dirt until it floods. They still have the ability to crawl/flop to other puddles and have their eggs preserved for long periods of time.

When spawning they will spawn in substrate in clutches(up to 20-40). Once eggs hatch they are independent of themselves and adults will not eat them(to pass their genes).
