Reproduction: like D. Robustus they form pairbonds and mate during the beginning of the wet season and lay their eggs during the dry season but the number of eggs has been reduced to 1-2 per pair as they invest more resources into each egg by laying larger eggs as larger offspring have fewer predators and being more aggressive in their protection of the eggs and the offspring after they hatch for a longer period to prevent land predators from picking them off and a better chance at reaching maturity
Food/Sustenance: they feast upon D. Anokatokarpus, D. Fruitflotensis, F. Catagraphahumilis, F. Clamus, andF. Spinensis and other hard shelled muscals
General description: They are similar to robustus in most aspects except they have grown larger to better deter predators,their nostrils are more posteriorly and superiorly positioned to make coming up to breath quicker as they can quickly surface and the dive back down, they have grown a large pair of tusks that are found on both sexes as they are used to crack open shells,fight over nesting sights,and feeding grounds as competition for the beaches became more intense as their population reached into carrying capacity.Their stance is still that of a sprawling lizard-like animal but their stomach have become even larger as to prevent predators like T. Therophagus from biting their torso though this seems to only work some of the time as their limbs are still vulnerable. Unlike robustus though this species swims in much deeper water father out at sea where robustus dare not venture and Their larger torso allows for larger lungs that allow for longer dives , denser bones which make staying near the bottom where they feed easier, and they have gain a layer of fat in their skin to conserve heat in the cold deeper waters to keep its body from becoming sluggish and easy prey
