Two-Sailed Varanusuchus

Extinct (February 26th, 2019): No reason provided.

With the evolution of Pseudosukalensis tridentus feeding on the Varanusuchus spinacaliditas they evolved into V. duospinacaliditas a 2 sailed Varanusuchus.

They inhabit zone F and they are a herbivore feeding on Lorensia potensus, Plortatus paratus and Plortatus forensus (but usually prefer to feed on L. potensus). V. duospinacaliditas seem to also developed a bile used as a poison stored on its second sail from its diet of many plants. It uses the poison when Pseudosukalensis tridentus starts attacking them to get them of its back. They developed longer legs to be able to run faster and climb easier. They get up to 1.3 feet (including tail). It uses the first sail to regulate heat and store water to keep its skin moist. They are still often seen in puddles to absorb water. During breeding males obtain lots of colour on their crest and try to impress the females. Once the female accepts they mate in puddles lying eggs. Eggs are then transferred into the mother's mouth for mouthbrooding. When the eggs hatch they are almost miniature versions of their parents but with gills. The gills would be gone in just 2 days and they will be ready to breathe air and fend for themselves.
