Kelpflotensa primaflotens
Found in zone 25 this new primitive producer are found on the surface of the water. They have roots at the bottom and anchor weights(does work to stop it drifting 75% of times) that are mass pact of leaves and stems to form weight to hold it down so it would not drift to the shores and die. Most leaves are found above the water where sunlight is abundant but it has leaves in the under section too which gaps of the top layer of the leaves pass the light through it and photosynthesizes the bottom layer. Roots are at the bottom absorbing nutrients in the water. When reproducing they grow little seeds(up to 10-20 seeds but only 3-5 grow to max size) which it let goes and be drifted by the waves to a new area without getting competition from the mother plant. The seed will germinate and grow an anchor part first then grow the entire carpet cap on the surface. It grows to a max diameter of 3 feet.
