Hordata jenpia
A primitive producer found in zone 28. It is made up of various sections, with 4 sections in a row being identical and photosynthetic, and every 5th being blue, non-photosynthetic, and used to branch out and secure itself. It secures itself via groups of tendrils on the back of the blue segment that cling to the rock structures. It clings to the rocky structures and spreads along, rooting itself with its special 5th segments. It reproduces via fragmentation. Each segment is one cm long, and there is no restrictions for how many segments may grow, although if they grow too densely in a certain area, a few sections may die off. This polyphyta is also able to fully regrow itself as long as one anchor and one photosynthetic section remain. Water is also absorbed through all sections of the sections, and nutrients are often absorbed this way.
