Helix quattuorus

From OurFoodChain
Extinct (January 23rd, 2019): No reason provided.

Lives in shallow pools near the shore surrounding Zone 12. Feeds on various plant matter, primarily seeds dropped in the water by Plortatus forensus.

It has four "feet" that it uses to push itself around. Its mouth contains two rough, bony structures for grinding down plant matter, which is then pulled into its mouth with its sticky tongue.

It is not capable of detecting most forms of stimuli, its primary sense being taste. It simply moves wherever it happens to pick up the most food, and will wander aimlessly and blindly if no food is available.
