Dracowyverious plumaprimis
Evolved from Dracuanguilacerta vulturtalonus.
A group of D. vulturtalonus travelled to zone F because of competition. Their size was reduced to become lighter for flight and their fourth finger extended and joined to the wing membrane. They can fly but only over short distances, 1-2km, staying airborne for 30-120 minutes before landing on a rock or tree to rest.
Found in zone F they grow up to 28cm but have a wingspan of 35cm. They prey on Helix grallaeus and D. plumaprimventis (however only a big pack can take one on) as it is easy to prey them on the tree tops by catching their prey or take down large prey using their sharp claws. They usually hunt in packs of 1-4 ( permanent and are formed when they want to hunt a large prey) usually to flank their prey or take down large prey however they will hunt solitarily. Packs are formed when a group decides to create a pack if they cannot find small prey to catch because the pack can hunt bigger prey. Their feathers help camouflage as leaves of polyphs they are usually green with a light underside to camouflage while soaring. When breeding males will build a nest out of leaves and sticks on trees and defend it with their lives. Once a female finds a nest males try to impress her with their crest and feathers. Once the female accepts the male they mate then the female lays her eggs (up to 3-8 eggs but only 2-3 survive) in the next week. Once they hatch the male takes care of the young until they can fly, the male teaches them learn how to fly. Then he will chase them off. The subadults are totally independent.
They are nomadic and only make nests when they are breeding. Packs would nest nearby each other so they can help protect or feed young.
