Colonelsuchus aborealus

From OurFoodChain
Extinct (May 2nd, 2020): Outcompeted by Aquadracius katoterrus and Neosukalensis morphensis

Evolved from V. colonisuchus they migrate to zone F due to predation and a search for food. They developed primitive ears that are only capable of detecting vibrations within a close proximity which are found at the end of its head. They also now have a taste of meat due to T. gigabetas eating the dense amount of polyps.

Found in zone F they are found in colonies of 15-25. Their burrows are made under Plortatus or on soil. A pack of 3-10 foraging for food and bring food back to the colony. They feed on Neosukalensis species, dead carcasses, L. clearensis, L. fernus, and L. potensus. They grow up to 10-18cm easily able to overpower neosukalensis species easily by biting their heads or legs off. There is always an alpha which gets the most mate and does not need to forage. Males would often fight for the ranking of alpha wrestling each other until someone gets tired. When they see predators they are able to run at high speeds bipedally to the burrow but if they are too far away from the burrow they can also climb a tree to avoid the predator. Their ears are also used to hear what’s behind them and not turn around to see it. Their ears have an ear drum and nerves that transport the signals of vibrations to the brain.

When breeding males would mate with females in their moist burrows. The females then lay the clutches of eggs in the burrow. The eggs would hatch in the next 4 days hatching smaller versions of the adults which are brooded by the colony. When they reach subadult some would wonder off to join another colony or stay in their current colony.
