Dwarf Vlort

Some Catachrisatus vineredensia in Zone F would shift toward sustaining themselves primarily through their hosts rather than photosynthesis. Growing longer stems was no longer necessary causing those that relied more on the host to grow shorter and shorter eventually speciating.

1-2 feet tall

The Dwarf Vlort's (Catachrisatus reduci) roots grow out until they come across the roots of a host polyph. After the roots connect with a host, a thin trunk will begin to grow towards the tree before going upward. The Dwarf Vlort's trunk is shorter, growing reproductive vines as soon as it contacts the host's trunk. All of this happens over the course of 1-2 months. These reproductive vines drop their seeds in the early rainy season, with the seeds growing soon after they touch the soil. The Dwarf Vlort uses photosynthesis but mainly relies on their hosts for survival.
