Boreolenta breviflagella
Some members of Borelenta hydraherbensis managed to reach the water of zone 15 and were able to spread more effectively due to the presence of constant water. This led to Boreolenta breviflagella.
B. breviflagella is 6μm long and has much shorter flagella due to less need to swim from the constant presence of water and the high abundance of Eodeasensis spp. B. breviflagella parasitizes E. eodeasporous and E. folufusus by sticking to the roots, rupturing the cells, and absorbing the nutrients. Due to the fast-growing nature of Eodeasensis B. breviflagella has sped up its reproduction and kills its host faster. It will kill the roots of its host in 1 to 3 months.
B. breviflagella never encysts due to the consistency of its habitat and hosts.
