Tendocirculix flexicoles (Barnacle Helix) is a sessile Helid derived from Tendocirculix interretus. Once adhered to a surface, it begins growing in both height and tentacles as it pulls seeds out of the water column from Plortatus forensus descendants, such as Megaplortatus flotatortensis. Like many Helids, the Barnacle Helix eats exclusively the seeds of forensus descendants by reeling them in with its long, taste-sensitive tentacles. Its many sets of tentacles helps it find seeds to eat even in the deeper waters of Zone 5.

There is no known limit to height or tentacle length of the Barnacle Helix, as they often reach the end of their lifespan before they grow unreasonably tall. That said, most specimens reach a height of around 8 inches. Every two inches or so, another set of tentacles is formed, expanding radially from the central "stalk". There is no limit to the number of tentacles in each set.

The majority of the digestive system still exists inside of the shell, but the throat has been lengthened to muscle food all the way up the stalk.

The tentacles, on the other hand, can grow to excessive lengths, forming tangled nets in the water column. When they taste a seed, they wrap around it and reel it in towards their mouths, lifting up part of their foot to insert it into their mouth. Due to the amount of tangling that occurs, a seed can pass between many tentacles of many different specimens before reaching its destination.

Because it rarely moves, it can go some time without food when necessary.
