A direct descendent of Taxonomum bosanicus, and occupying the same zones, this species boasts one key adaptation to their seed pods. Instead of the pods being level with the moss, it instead extends upwards to the surface of the water, where it floats until the seeds are knocked back into the water by winds so that they can grow. This adaptation means that the seed pods are unreachable by aquatic species. The vegetative matter is still eaten by Oslontus sp.
