Extinct (August 10th, 2019): Loss of habitat with the extinction of Subplortatus desertensis and outcompeted by U. axulhachus.

After some T. spraticanus swam across the channel separating zone C and E, they evolved into T. subterrania to fit the new environment. Their claws became more specialized for digging, and they developed fin-like protrusions at the end of their tail. This helps them more easily manipulate sand as they dig. However, this species rarely needs to dig, as they are able to spend most of their lives living beneath the Subplortatus desertensis. This species is nocturnal, taking advantage of the cooler nights to climb the trees and eat the leaves. They are also capable of swimming in zone 17 and eating the M. greana. If they are unable to return to shelter before daylight, they will dig a few inches down and completely bury themselves, sleeping the day away until it gets cool again. They can reach 10cm in length and reproduce in batches of eggs numbering 30-45, laid under the S. desertensis.
