Despite its name, Thanos’ Tower is just a lowly marine polyph. Descended from Thanos’ Marine Grass (A. okeanus), Thanos’ Tower is very easily distinguished from its ancestor by the dramatic increase in the length of its trunk. This increase in height places its leaf clusters, and therefore reproductive organs which are located in the center of the leaf clusters, further up, allowing its seeds--which are just the right density to be carried by ocean currents without sinking immediately or floating--to spread much further after being dropped. It also allows it to have more leaves and therefore catch more sunlight. It can grow up to 6 feet tall in calmer waters with leaves 1-2 feet long, but on average it only reaches 3 feet tall because in most cases ocean currents eventually cause it to topple. It begins producing seeds at 3 weeks after sprouting, at which point it looks exactly like its ancestor; however, it does not stop growing, the trunk continuing to grow in height for about 2 years or until toppled (at which point it dies), continually growing new leaf clusters scattered about it. Like its ancestor, it reproduces asexually and spreads its seeds via ocean currents.
