Terroslontus spraticanus
Extinct (April 5th, 2020): outcompeted by Dracwhulus brimusos, Oslontus disrentius, O. enjambre, Amfivioslontus megaloceros
A direct descendent of Oslontus disambiguus, however adapted to live on the land in zone C. This species relies on the seeds of Taxonomum florus, and in doing so cross-pollinates the plants. It is also able to grab the floating seeds of Taxonomum longiceedus, but at great risk of being eaten by Cynopsis pyrrhosynopsm. The main physiological change is not only its ability to live entirely on land (although it must lay its eggs in the water), but also it’s front appendages evolving into primitive claws. It is also a reduced size of only 3-4mm compared to its 5-7cm aquatic ancestors.
