Sudonomum vinensis

From OurFoodChain

This moss species evolved from T. florus to grow in vine patterns. Along the shore of Zone C, this species can grow in tufts and then have long lines reaching inland to different water sources nearby. This moss holds water much better than T. florus which enables it to get somewhat further from water sources and survive longer. It blooms in May and seed pods are spread among the long vines. When the humidity level rises, the seed pods burst.
