These anemone have both stingers and feather filter feeders. The feather filters would filter the ground for biofilm or filter the currents that it lives in, the filters would then reach to the mouth where the anemone eats it. They have strong foot able to hold high currents but it also lives in calm waters. Found in warm waters in zone 3,zone 4, zone 5,zone 6,zone 7, zone 9, 12, and zone 13. Pterygotus Filterarious will sometimes drag their harry parts of the claws on the filter feeding feathers and eat the biofilm on them. Their stings are not so deadly but appear to stun their prey with a large shock that will last for a few minutes, but the pain of the shock will be there for 3 days but the pain will deplete
