Evolved from K. killifoeto, specimens of zone 21 that took advantage of the abundance of food in the substrate and lack of predators they started to feed on bottom of the lake which led lost of use of the swim bladder. These specimens adapted to a detrivorous lifestyle having a jaw better for sifting substrate and foraging on detritus and their back pectoral fins become fins used to rest on the substrate.

Found in zone 21, they get up to 8-14cm(they got smaller to sustain themselves from mostly a detrivores' diet). They feed on biofilm, detritus and dead polyph matter. They are found in groups of 60-100 propeling themselves using a tail and their front pectoral fins then rest standing on their back pectoral fins(with the back pectoral fins able to move 180 degrees). They forage by sifting in any substrate they can find or swim/hop onto rocks to forage on the rocks.

Their coloration are a green coloration with a yellow stripe on its tail and body.

When spawning they will spawn in substrate in clutches(up to 20-40). Once eggs hatch they are independent of themselves and adults will not eat them(to pass their genes).
