Rock Helix
Evolved from D. fruitflotensis that drifted to zone 7. They developed small simple eyes only able to detect light and extremely blur objects. Their eyes only containing photoreceptors and nerves. They become nocturnal and their shell also developed a rougher surface and more rock like shape to camouflage themselves from potential predation G. panterus, M. makoprima and S. neorhina.
Found in zone 7 they are nocturnal and use their eyes to sense the light from the sun which when the sun sets and it is night they will emerge from small crevasses of rocks, under the gravel or hiding as a rock. They are able to dig in the gravel covering everything except exposing their eyes. Once night comes they will set off to find dead carcasses to feed on. They feed on dead carcasses, biofilm, and detritus. They use their long tentacles to grip onto rocks, vegetation or the substrate so they can drag themselves on the substrate looking for food. They asexually during winter they lay and carry their eggs in their shells.( the eggs are placed under rocks or crevasses). When the eggs hatch the babies come out of their parent shell and they feed on detritus and biofilm until they are big enough to feed on bigger foods and babies are fully independent of themselves. They get up to 15-30cm long (counted long tentacles 5-10cm for shell).
