T. extensiensus is a species that evolved from T. longiceedus seeds being dropped into the salt waters of zone 9. It has a similar structure to T. longiceedus, except that its seed stems have large clumps of vegetative matter along the stems, as well as the seeds growing throughout instead of only at the top. This species is eaten by Oslontus angelosis
