Evolved from Pterygotus filterarious This species lives in zone 5 and zone 12 feeding biofilm and dead corpses. Most live in zone 5 in groups where their big cousin Pterygotus giganus have been living leftovers which they feed. They are preyed upon their big cousin Pterygotus giganus. They live in big shoals of about 6-12 of them in one group using claws with hairs to sift the sands. They lay the eggs via on the beach but the lay their eggs earlier then Pterygotus giganus and the eggs hatch earlier aswell. They also gather in hordes to molt and lay eggs earlier then Pterygotus giganus. They also evolved to swim in open waters and have another set of eyes used to see above.
