Primitive Sea Glider
New species that is found in zone 25 this creature are not related to any other creatures. Found in zone 25 they live in groups of 2-10. they feed on Kelpflotensa primaflotens(leaves only) and Libraphotocyanus cytosol. They swallow their food whole but also have small teeth to snap the leaves of K. primaflotens off. They get 10-15 cm long. They glide in the open water foraging and finding new patches to feed. They use their primitive flexible lobe fins to glide in the water with its tail used to steer itself to different directions. They will not go down to the bottom area of the zone and more on the top and middle area. They molt their primitive chitin every 2 months on their back which is used so when they mate the male does not crush the female's back but males still have them as they pile on females and may crush each others' backs. When mating males use their front limbs to grab on females which males will pile on females to fight for mating, the males try to release sperm into her cloaca to fertilized her eggs in her primitive womb. When female gets impregnated the female chases off the males so they can stop trying to mate with her and to say she’s pregnant. Mating occurs when many groups up to 2-4 groups come and mate with each other which they return back to their groups after mating. The female carries her eggs in her primitive womb which the eggs(up to 10-14 only 3-8 survive) are incubated in. Once the eggs hatch into larvae. The larvae gets released from the mother's cloaca and they fend for themselves adults and sub adults would sometimes eat them if they are small enough to feed in their mouths not the mother however but she will attempt to eat them after the larvae leaves her. The larvae will molt many times until they reach adults size. It will take 1 year for larvae to turn into adults. Larvae do not have a pupae state. However larvae have softer chitin as they are born with a soft chitin and will take many molts and feedings to get their chitin hard. Sub adults usually get their hard shells already but not juveniles
