G. panterus is evolved from G. gigas, and lives in Zone 7. By living in Zone 7, it eats S. angelosis and A. invictus. It has also developed plates of armor behind the head above the pectoral fins. While these plates are not used for defense, they have small pores throughout that secrete a sticky substance, causing sand and dirt to become stuck to the plates. This substance is internally synthesized using macromolecules in their foods. This is extremely beneficial to the young as a form of camouflage, and as adults if enough dirt becomes stuck it can support growth of plants, making the oldest adults' plates usually littered with various plants growing on them. These plants also help with camouflage. These creatures can grow to be 3 feet long, with a wingspan of 2.5 feet. Their fins have developed to be much larger than its predecessor. They lay small batches of eggs numbering in the dozens, from which 12-16 typically make it to adulthood. The young start out as ambush predators utilizing their camouflage, as well as eating plants, and the adults are able to openly swim and eat the angelosis due to higher swimming speed.
