Extinct (May 2nd, 2020): Outcompeted by D. armiorei and Neoplacus ferrodontus

Height : 3 ft
Weight: 20 lbs
They evolved from D.Gripus. Due to The huge population of D.gripus on the coast of zone c.
D. Aquaticus has evolved to live Mostly in seas of zone 9. Their feet evolved to become more flipper-like but still remaining with a long claw. Due to their adaption, size change and movement they can swim and catch bigger prey as their ancestors like G. guardus and the carrion of Gigoslontus flotensis. They hunt mostly in the water and rarely appear on the beaches of zone C expect in Spring when the Mating season starts. When hunting the Aquaticus will use its keen eyesight, body mass, and gaping mouth to swallow its prey; The teeth of Aquaticus are sharp with ridges perfect for breaking shells and tearing flesh. this is a trait they have similar to their ancestors.

Reproduction: During spring-late summer female pair up with males and mate. After this process, the female will become pregnant; D.Aquaticus will return to beach to lays their eggs. During this time The female will watch over her young as the male will gather food just like their ancestors. Once born the babies will group with their mother normally crawling on the back of their mother. When in its juvenile stage they will mold their hide and enter adulthood. And the cycle continues
