Extinct (May 2nd, 2020): Outcompeted by D. mothus

Evolved from D. vespertilios they developed long antennae like crest on top of their eyes with feathers for impressing females. They change their period of time to attract a female so they can show their bright feathers on their antennae to impress the females.Their antennaes are enlarged feathers that are manipulated via blood vessels, similar to the means cats use to raise their hair. Using blood vessels specialized in making the swaying movement, if there is no movement the resting position is pointing backward flat against the head.

Found in zone D they get up to 2.2 feet long and have a wingspan of 4.5 feet. During the night they feed on D. arbora, D. brunus, D. purpurus, T.purpa, T. takydromus, V. cuniculum, P. allium, V. cocotus, C. caeruleum, C.equinoxum,C. flumum, A. morspotatori, A. peregris, V. herraborealus, P.unculodo and P. vorax. They hunt by hearing their prey and see in the dark to catch prey. Since most of its prey are diurnal they will try often find their prey sleeping so they have easy meals killing them in their sleep. For prey larger then itself it usually bites the neck to let blood loss kill it due to injury on a major artery they would usually flee so their prey can chase them causing more blood to be lost until it dies. Most of their pigment are now most dark green to black to camouflage in the night and hide in the trees during the day while their antenna have bright red feathers. They are occasionally active during dusk and dawn to find mates or when they unable to find prey during the night.

When breeding during autumn males manipulate their throats to make noises to attract females during the dawn and dusk. When a female found male, the male will attempt to flirt swaying with its antennae (shows they are able to use more force and energy to sway their antennae since its just developed and their control is not that well so they need to use lots of energy to sway extremely fast which would need good strength and good health indicating strength and health, the mesmerizing movements come from their predator instincts from movement) with the female to get acceptance of the male, when the female accepts his offering they will mate and mate for life. The both parents build their nest on trees which they would lay 4-7 eggs(only 2-5 survive). When the eggs hatch the female would raise their young while the male brings food until they are able to fly and fend for themselves which they would chase them off.
