Extinct (April 12th, 2020): Outcompeted by Oslontus enjambre

These worm-like creatures that range from 5-7cm are herbivore decomposers that eat live and dead plant matter, particularly Taxonomum bonsanicus. They are largely defenseless apart from hiding inside the moss that they feed on. To make up for their low survival rate, they reproduce in very large quantities.
