Extinct (March 26th, 2020): loss of habitat

O. sturgensis is a direct relative to O. sturgeous, and not very far derived from their ancestors at all. The main physiological changes are elongated fins and a much larger body size, reaching a maximum length of 15cm. The most key difference with this species is that it was able to adapt to the brackish waters in zone 10 in order to eat the Aquaplortatus that live there. This species grew to be so large because of the very large size of the Aquaplortatus that live there. It lays its eggs directly in the leaves of the plants that live there.
