The New World event refers to a map expansion that occurred on February 26th, 2019. This event introduces 14 new zones, inhabited by previously-unseen species.

New Zones

New terrestrial zones were created during this event, namely Zone J, Zone K, Zone L, Zone M, Zone N, Zone O, and Zone P. New aquatic zones were also created, namely Zone 25, Zone 26, Zone 27, Zone 28, Zone 29, Zone 30, and Zone 31.

In total 14 new zones were introduced, bringing the total number of zones from 31 to 45.

New World Species

The new zones were inhabited by previously-unseen species which had existed since Genesis, known as New World Species. These organisms were fairly basic, only fulfilling the roles of producers, decomposes, or base-consumers, a large number of them being microbial.

New World Species include any species discovered between February 26th, 2019 and June 2nd, 2019 without a known ancestor.
