Long Sukopode
Larva: Brown. A wide and strong worm that feeds on decaying organic matter. It likes specialy Plortatus marcops' leaves. It can breathe air, unlike its adult form. Sometimes, it acts as a herbivore eating live plants, but, normally, it's a detritivore.
Pupa: Hard black spheres deep underground. Prepared to handle weight and force aplied over them.
Adult: Its 7 segments are: Head Claws Legs Legs Leg-like appendices (modified legs) Empty Empty Tail The whole body is realy flat and has the capability of swiming though mud without using the legs/tail. They usually rank about 30-20cm (12-8inch). They regenerate amazinly well and don't die of age. Its tail is wide and lets it impulse backwards if needed. Its Also realy usefull to swim though the dirty waters of the swamp. Its modified legs have tiny hears that let M. segmatnemtug sense water currents, necesary to sense properly in a dirty, dark place. Its legs have little hooks on the inner part, specialy the first ones, that work like arpons. Its claws are strong and realy usefull. It can use them for digging, hunting, defending itself... The segment that contains them has a weir propiety: when damanged, it creates another segment behind it. This anomaly in regeneration allows this species to get longer and longer. The new segments also have claws. Fortulatly, this segment is thin and doesn't make the M. segmatnemtug a lot longer with each one of them. If they have plenty of food, they damage themselves to grow bigger. If they only have one of this they are about 20cm (8inch) long, but, having lots of them, the maximun length reached was 75cm (30inch). The head is big and has a perfect shape for digging.
Mating: They dance in spirals and atach to each other in a hug-like position. The female will lay eggs in a rock and the male will fertilice them.
