Drucerus reedus or the High Reed Druce, a descendant of Drucerus palma in South Chamegia living along the coasts where humid oceanic winds support a greater community of polyphs than further inland.

The stems are stiffer, relying on turgor pressure to stand upright. High Reed Druce's seeds grow under the leaves at the ends of its stems allowing it to take advantage of wind distribution better. The stems can reach 40 centimeters tall.
