A descendent of A. purpura that has evolved to parasitize and steal/replicate the lights of colonies of A. ivorae to defend itself. It still feeds off of hydrothermal vents in zone 24, and reproduces via cell division and splitting off new spirals. The lights, in addition to the pre-existing compounds, make A. rosea quite well-defended. Grows up to around 16-17cm and reaches a max population/vent of 50-60 colonies before additional spirals will be sent elsewhere.
