Evolved from F.clamus zone 4 specimens developed a thicker shell so they are able to withstand the bite force of D. maritimus and D. robustus this originate from extra calcium carbonate growth found when they are born, this eventually was selectively built up with the extra calcium carbonate growth creating a thicker shell.

Found in zone 4 they are found in both deeper waters and the shallow waters near the shore as long there's the presence of food. They feed on L. layoraft(shallow only), L. cytosol(shallow only) , L. byssumcoda, R.electra, S. podius, F. cenafolius, F. foliumegaeus and F.foliumicroeus.They feed using their arms and tentacles in catch their food but using their spines to filter food. Their shells are a rough rock-like texture with a grey, black or brown coloration camouflaging as rocks in the substrate. Despite keeping their shell buried most of the time, the camouflage helps them when they're exposed by currents and helps seeking a new location without being notice. Their shells are thicker being 3cm thick to withstand bites from D. maritimus and D. robustus. They are still found alone mostly in deeper parts while also still living in clusters usually found in the shallows

They breed asexually and they lay and carry their eggs in their shells. When the eggs hatch the babies come out of their parent shell and they feed on detritus and biofilm under the substrate until their big enough to be on the surface. They get up to 7-14cm They grow slower then their ancestors due to the development of the thicker shell
