Evolved from Macrognathusensis clavotigris they still have lobed fins, they have stronger tails and developed a large wide jaw that can stretched extremely wide to swallow large prey.

This species are found in zone 4 they feed on , Corcodillus aquatillium, N. dentesos and M. armorgedonensis able to swallow them extreme slowly and are capable of digesting prey whole. They get 2.7 feet long. They are solitary, hiding in the substrate waiting to ambush its prey. Their colour matches the substrate its hiding in. They're able to slightly change colour to camouflage in the substrate. During spawning time a female and male will pair dig underground and start spawning. They lay their eggs(up to 50-80 eggs but only 4-10 survive) deep underground. When the eggs hatch fry spend most of their life living underground as a detritivore , when they reach juvenile they reach to the surface and ambush anything that they are able to swallow with their mouths (mostly Macrobrachium tesla).
