Genesis

The Genesis period spanned from December 23rd, 2018 to December 27th, 2018. It refers to events occurring between the gamma ray and Qualis Humulis extinction events. It was followed by the Oslontocene period.

Pre-Genesis

Some time before December 23rd, 2018, the planet of Oesfy was hit with a large amount of gamma radiation, which killed off a vast majority of microbes. This caused a cascading effect that killed off many higher lifeforms, leaving behind a few species that are now referred to as “Genesis species”. All species alive today are derived from these species, and a result, there is no known single ancestor.
