Flying Coral

From OurFoodChain

Some polips inflated and are free swimers. Those are jellyfish.
The coral grows on gigant jellyfish, that are usually downwards. The jellyfish are photosintetic, well, they aren't, the make simbiosis with microscopic algae. The jellyfish are full of gases and float, whereas the whole coral weights, and is pointing to the ground. The jellyfish grows big and makes a shadow where small animals feel safe. The coral kills them whith long tentacles. The jellyfish only extends its tentacles during the night, when they look like small lights due to the bioluminescence of some dots. This atracts fish, that both the coral and the jellyfish eat. The jellyfish grow up to 2.5 meters across, but the coral stays at a normal sice. The jellyfish also filtrates the waters.
Once the jellyfish is fully grown, it starts producing gamets. When the coral is at max sice, it also starts reproducing, asexually, producing tons of eggs.
The eggs produce little jellys that swim fast and don't float. Later on, they grow a coral and get big, and become adults.
