Dimensions: 6cm*4cm^2 Spores of Bulbus bulbus that developed on float detritus gathered light for photosynthesis easily. They began to develop smaller due to lack of nutrients available from their substrate but continued to thrive at the surface of the water. These developed into Bulbus floatus.

Bulbus floatus grows to a smaller size due to its greater challenge of getting soil nutrients and will grow onto any float detritus it can. It maintains the 3 part body. It's pigments have lightened somewhat because it gets more direct sunlight, the storage area is now a larger proportion of the polyph to allow for more nutrient storage based on size, and the root grows shorter as it can only grow into what ever detritus is available. They still reproduce asexually by sporing.
